WHAT IT MEANS TO BE ADOPTED
Ms. Smith's first graders were discussing a picture of a family. In the picture, one little boy looked different from the other family members.
A child in the class suggested that the boy in the picture was adopted. A little girl spoke up and said, "I know all about adoptions because I was adopted." Her classmate asked, "What does 'adopted' mean?"
The little girl responded, "It means you grew in your mommy's heart instead of her tummy."

I would hope that every gentile who has been redeemed by Christ would understand the joy and grace of being adopted!

Well said. The biblical concept of adoption is not one we hear much about anymore. That is a shame, since it is such a glorious and profoundly meaningful scriptural truth!
