I don't know i found the article a little combative and way too busy attacking folks that I'm not very sure who he meant.

Maybe if he had stopped at the rant I would have enjoyed his point. After all the person of the Holy Spirit is self less, practicing just what Jesus taught.

But this writer seems to be saying that spritual gifts are not valid at all. I cannot find a biblical warrant for that possition.

I really didn't want to comment to him directly I was afraid he might burn me up;)
 

Good point, "Bayou." I know for a fact that the article's author is a cessationist and he does come across as combative at times.

While I disagree with his take on cessationism, I appreciate his reminder that a significatn feature of the Holy Spirit's work is to testify to Jesus (John 15:26).
